one cool site: wordpress blogging tips
This is my first review with a spread in the score. The reason is that for people who don’t have a wordpress blog this website is only a 7. However, for people with a wordpress blog this site is a 9. Got it? Good.
This website gives some really great advanced information about blogging. For instance one article I was reading this morning, Twenty income streams for a blogger which had some really great new information I had not seen before. They also set up the site in a very easy to use way, so you can search the archives, see what comments are being said and see the days main stories.
If you use a reader, this site’s definely worth adding.

Mashable – Web 2.0 Blog
This great blog has 5 million monthly readers so you know they must be doing something right. They publish “breaking news on what’s new on the web”. This ranges from new online companies, new social networks and new ways that users are navigating the internet. For instance this morning they ran stories on how to become an influencer on Twitter, why Facebook was going to have more user’s than MySpace, that the RIAA is going to stop suing people, how to monetize social media applications, etc, etc. Great blog to throw on your reader.

Social Media Today – Various Authors
Posts today include “101 Ways to Rock and be Rocked by Twitter” and “Lessons from the Obama Campaign, Traditional Marketing Vs. Cause Marketing”. As you can see this marketing blog covers a huge array of subjects. In fact one of the negatives of this blog is the amount of stories they publish, because getting through them all can be a chore. However the vast majority of what they publish is really great content. One excellent feature of this blog is that they constantly introduce you to noteworthy bloggers and websites. Just today I learned about tubetorial.com, a website containing a library of internet marketing videos.

Chris Brogan is one of the it social media marketers right now. In fact if I was asked to name the two most active social media marketer’s in the forums and blogs I would say Seth Godin and Chris Brogan. Chris is constantly creating blog posts, tweets, e-books and is currently writing a hardcover. Chris knows what is going on and is very much connected with the whose whose of social media marketing, being asked to speak at the big conferences and guest posting on lots of marketing blogs. He is very much into connecting with the customers, listening to them and adapting to their ideas and he has a lot of great things to say. And, my favorite part of his blog are the guests he has on to do posts. He invites really great people in the industry to post on his blog, which is how I find out about a lot of other great blogs. However, he is online so much creating blog posts and tweets that you have to do a lot of weeding through to find his really good nuggets of information.
